Clean, gorgeous hotel built in a historic style. Well sized room with Double bed and the bathroom, as example. Great and beautiful location so close to the city centre in a very quiet area. Again, walking distance to Central Library.

It had a marvellous and brilliant location - a minute walk from Star Pyramid. Moreover, it was close to restaurants, and Stirling Castle.

The location on the edge of the shopping district and Stirling's old town was excellent. The public rooms, in the old school building were charming, atmospheric and relaxing at the end of the evening. Parking in the quad was convenient.

Very central, very helpful staff.
We stayed in a better quality hotel in Lancaster the night before. The rooms there were much bigger brighter. Much better facilities with free wi-fi and about 30% cheaper. £9 for a sandwich and a not particularly nice sandwich was excessive. I will be staying elsewhere next time I visit Stirling

The hotel is a old school building which adds an additional charm to the hotel. The free car park inside the hotel was very convenient. The location was very good to explore the city centre and the Stirling castle (anyway, the city is very small, it is possible to explore it easily by walking). There is an old telescope on the top of the building, which can be visited with a hotel staff member. It is very beautiful and the view from it is stunning. We only had dinner once, but the experience was great: good food and friendly staff.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and the duvet was extremely warm. The room needs a little remodeling.
